Round of 32
#1 Seed: The 2009/10 edition of the Kansas Jayhawks featured one of the most dominant line-ups during the 2002 to 2013 decade, as well as the entirety of mens CBB history.  This teams talent ran deep at guard, but was especially strong along the front line with the Morris twins and Cole Aldrich. The stats from a dominant season translated to an overall number 1 March dance seed.  These Jayhawks were defeated by a resourceful upstart Northern Iowa team, with Ali Farokhmanesh's 3 point dagger forever burned into the hearts of the Kansas faithful. The 2009/10 Kansas squad may have been the best overall team in college basketball that season, but the one-game nature of tournament offers no guarantee the best team will win out.
