Round of 4
#10 Seed: The 2001/02 Kansas Jayhawks, led by Drew Gordon and Nick Collison, were made-up of one of the decade's most powerful front lines.  Ball control was good if not solid, with a propensity to turn it over that made this KU team vulnerable. Roy Williams coached these Jayhawks to a perfect 16-0 Big 12 campaign and a #1 seed. These Jayhawk's made it all the way to the Final 4 in Atlanta. KU was shown the March exit door by Juan Dixon and Maryland's National Championship team.  The 2001/02 campaign was a warm-up for what would be Roy Williams last season at KU, a season where the Jayhawks finished a bitter runner-up to Jim Boeheim's Syracuse Orange and NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony.
